At Denby, our staff in-store play a crucial role in our continued success. As Manager you will be required to drive sales and profitability, manage costs, and deliver outstanding visual merchandise standards in store. The successful candidate will have retail management experience (either in a store or concession environment), an awareness of the Denby brand and its products, and have a flexible approach towards work. Experience in the homewares sector and/or in an Outlet or fast paced environment is desirable but not essential. You’ll possess a “can do” attitude towards the role and will also be comfortable working with, and inspiring a small, dedicated team.

RETAIL ADMINISTRATOR

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retail Administrator to join our committed, enthusiastic and successful team within the central support office of Denby Retail. As a tourist attraction with 6 stores on site and 30 outlet stores around the country, the job is both varied and challenging.

This full time role (Monday-Friday 8.45am-5.00pm) encompasses general administration and a wide range of tasks including stock control and auditing, promotional planning and analysis and a high level of communication with the outlets and various departments.

Applicants should be computer literate and possess a sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point. Experience of using EPOS systems is desirable but not essential. Strong organisational skills, the ability to multi task and prioritise are pre-requisites of the position.

RETAIL MERCHANDISE MANAGER
FULL TIME

We have an exciting opportunity for a Merchandise Manager, based at Denby, to join the Retail team and make a significant contribution to the success of the Division. Reporting directly to the Retail Director, the role has a prime focus on product. Through close liaison with Managers responsible for each of the Retail locations, you will help ensure that agreed target levels of stock holding, stock turn and margin are achieved. The role is responsible for 3rd party and ‘special buy’ product selection, purchasing, forecasting and maintaining stock availability - with the aim of optimising sales and margin in the Retail Division.

The job will suit an experienced Retail professional who has an eye for profitable product selection with good buying skills. You will have outstanding planning and expediting expertise in order to ensure availability of approved products to meet agreed forecasts (working closely with our Retail Analyst to determine).

You’ll be a self starter, needing minimum supervision, and must be able to demonstrate exceptional organisational/prioritisation procedures. Strong computer skills are essential along with excellent inter-personal skills.

RETAIL SUPPORT SUPERVISOR

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retail Support Supervisor to manage our small admin team within the central support office of Denby Retail, based at our award winning Visitor Centre near Ripley, Derbyshire. The support office is responsible for all of the administration for the retail division. This includes the Centre itself, which has 6 stores on site, and also 30 Denby outlet stores around the country plus our subsidiary Company, Poole Pottery in Dorset.

This is a full time role (Monday-Friday 8.45am-5.00pm) encompassing general administration covering a wide range of tasks which are varied and challenging and will suit an experienced Office Supervisor, preferably with retail experience although this is not essential.

Reporting to the Retail Operations Controller you will ensure that consistently high levels of administration performance are maintained within this busy office. This role requires excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills. Applicants should have strong computer skills, especially Excel. Experience of using EPOS systems is desirable but not essential. Exceptional organisational and problem solving skills, the ability to multi task and prioritise, self motivation and enthusiasm are pre-requisites of the position.
