Bourne's Restaurant

Bourne's is our family friendly restaurant with a coffee and snacks counter, and tempting lunch menu. Sample the famous Homity Pie, along with Derbyshire Dishes, Denby blend coffee and delicious homemade cakes. The restaurant is self service and has a choice of seating areas, including roof terrace, outdoor picnic benches, main restaurant and upper Danesby Room.

A Taste of the Menu ...

Just a selection of main meals (changing regularly):

Pork and Leek Hot Pot - Diced pork and sliced leeks wrapped in an apple, sage and cider sauce, topped with sliced potatoes and served with vegetables and potatoes.

Chicken Breast with Brie and Watercress - wrapped in bacon and served with vegetables and potatoes.

Homity Pie - a nest of wholemeal pastry crammed with sauted onions, diced potatoes and local matured cheddar served with vegetables or salad.

Carvery (served Sunday and Monday) - locally sourced meat roasted to perfection served with vegetables, homemade gravy and homemade sauces.

Hearty Homemade Soups - served with fresh crusty bread.

Baked Potatoes with just melted butter or a selection of delicious toppings.

Denby blend coffee, teas, hot chocolate and soft drinks are served throughout the day along with a selection of freshly baked homemade cakes and biscuits and other snacks.
