POTTERY BEACH...OPEN DAILY until 5th September

Relax on the only beach in Derbyshire until the end of this week!

No need to travel miles to the coast, because we've got our very own 'Pottery' Beach here at Denby with lots of lovely safe golden sand.

Pottery Beach is open at Denby Visitor Centre daily 10am - 4pm until 5th September - a safe, FREE experience for all families to enjoy during the school holidays - weather permitting of course!

Buckets and spades, ice-creams, drinks and other seaside goodies are on sale at our beach shop. Relax in a traditional stripey deck chair, or watch the kids play from picnic seating just outside the beach.

There are various seaside competitions to enter in the Visitor Centre and on the Craftroom Tour.

The fun takes place in the Denby Craftroom at 11am, 1.15pm and 2.30pm daily. Children over 3 years £5 and adults £2.50.

Christmas 2010

Our annual Christmas Fayre is on Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December with over 50 stalls of great gift ideas, free guest cookery demonstrations and much more. Entry is free.

Santa's Grotto will be here again from December and late Night Thursday Shopping until 8pm starts from 25th November.

ANTIQUE VALUATIONS AT DENBY

Valuations of Denby and other antique items take place on the first
saturday morning in the month in the Visitor Centre Reception between 10am
and 12noon. The valuations are by Bamfords Auctioneers of Derby and are free
(limited to 3 items per person). No need to book, just turn up. For enquiries
