Visiting the Denby Pottery Village

Located within the heart of Derbyshire and its picturesque countryside, the Denby Pottery Village is an ideal place to shop, explore, learn and enjoy fresh food and drink.

Explore our Home Store for the latest collections and be inspired by distinctive décor options and table settings. If you’re in need of some culinary tips and tricks, or simply want to learn a new recipe, attend our free 30-minute cookery demonstrations which take place in our dedicated theatre, at 12:30pm and 2:30pm daily. The Factory Outlet Store can also be found onsite, and is the perfect place for discovering new, current and discontinued pottery.

After you have finished shopping, relax in our family friendly Bourne’s Restaurant. Bourne’s is a self- service eatery with numerous drinks, snacks and lunch options available. During the summer, sit out on the roof terrace with a cooling drink and in frostier months, find a cosy space in the main Restaurant and enjoy a warming coffee and homemade cake.

During your visit, embark on a behind the scenes factory tour; our knowledgeable tour guides will lead you through our working factory and you will get to experience the pottery process first-hand. After your 90-minute tour, visit our Craftroom where both adults and children can paint their very own Denby pot. The pot can then be fired and kept as a special memento of the day, or as a personalised gift. To book a factory tour, call us on 01773 740799.

New for 2016, our Walter Smith Farm Shop stocks the finest foods, from locally sourced meat to fresh cakes, cheeses and wine. Pick up your weekday essentials from the Farm Shop or simply treat yourself to an award- winning pork pie. The expert Farm Shop team prepare all of the meat onsite, and can help with any queries on best cooking methods, to produce the most delicious meat dishes.

The Denby Pottery Village is open Monday- Friday 10-6pm, Saturday 9-6pm and Sunday 11- 5pm.
