We have a vacancy in store for a Part-Time Sales Assistant, 7.5 hours per week, National Living Wage for those 18+.

PART TIME TRAINEE LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

We have a great opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic Trainee Laboratory Technician to join our New Product Development team to support glaze testing and development.

Ideally we would like candidates with the following minimum attributes: • Accurate worker, with strong attention to detail • Good colour vision • Maths & English language qualification (GCSE or similar) • IT skills – Word, Excel • An interest in science/laboratory work

Candidates must be able to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision.

We are open to discussion around start and finish times, but the basic requirement will be a minimum of 5 hours per day Monday to Friday, with a salary based on national living wage.

ADMINISTRATOR - CUSTOMER SERVICES

For over 200 years, Denby has been producing superior products, and today we pride ourselves on being the foremost producer of distinctive quality informal tableware.

This busy full-time role (currently Monday-Friday 8.45am-5.00pm – applicants must be flexible and overtime will be required to work during busy times).

This role encompasses a wide range of tasks including order management for both retail and private customers, internal and external communication both written and verbal, claims and complaints processing, order payment and refund processing, responding to incoming telephone and e-mail queries and occasional switchboard and mail room duties.

Applicants must have proven experience of administration in a customer service environment and should have a positive ‘can do’ attitude. In particular, you will need the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines with minimum supervision, and possess strong numeracy and organisational skills along with good computer literacy including excellent keyboard skills. Team working is essential, as are excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
