Perfect for roasts - takes a good size joint, the rack keeps the meat above the liquid so it doesn't saturate, but is easy to baste. Dish is also ideal for dishes like family sized lasagne, cottage pie or crumbles. I can't believe how easy this was to clean after a roast - far from scrubbing, I simply washed in hot soapy water and the food residue just wiped away - amazing! I didn't even put it in the dishwasher.
