The Shallow Bowl was originally inspired by traditional Korean ‘kimchi’, which is a fermented dish of seasoned vegetables. The smallest of the Shallow Bowls, this shape is ideal for holding dips, sauces, oils and seasonings. It can also be used for small nibbles such as olives, nuts, popcorn and sundried tomatoes.

A little more about our Studio Craft tableware range
Denby Studio Craft is inspired by the trend for an honest and rustic aesthetic in home and tableware. The quality stoneware collection, which is made in England, features a range of bowls, plates and platters designed with laid-back entertaining in mind. The range combines four tonal glazes in rich, earthy hues and takes influence from soft natural tones, raw textures and subtle glazes being introduced to ceramics in 2017.
Using skills perfected over 200 years, a spectacular glaze reaction in the kiln ensures each piece is carefully created and completely unique. This artisan collection is available with either a smooth or ridged texture and features woody colourways in Elm, Birch, Walnut and Chestnut, creating a natural aesthetic when stacked or mixed with existing pieces.
